HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
1. Share what you love most about Lakewood using our Lakewood Stories tool.
2. Participate in our I Love Lakewood casting call. We're looking for community members like you to interview on camera for our 'I Love Lakewood' video series. Fill out our casting call form for a chance to be featured in an upcoming “I Love Lakewood” video, which will be showcased online, on social media, and on Lakewood8.
3. Use the #iLoveLakewood hashtag on social media and tag the City's official account (@LakewoodCOgov) on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X or Threads.

Check out our photo album! As part of our #iLoveLakewood campaign, over 135 groups stopped by to capture special moments with friends, family, kids, and even pets. It was such a joy to see so many smiles and laughter throughout the weekend!
The booth, provided by the City of Lakewood, was a fun way to help our community create lasting memories at one of Lakewoodโs signature events. Cider Days is all about celebrating our local heritage and traditions, and we loved sharing that joy with everyone who came by. ๐

BSA Troop 448 reached out to share their story of an incredible "Day in Lakewood" working on their Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge. From meeting City of Lakewood and Jefferson County leaders to exploring Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park, riding RTD, meeting Lakewood PD's Community Action Team, and more, these scouts dove into everything that makes our city such a special place to live! ๐
When asked why they love Lakewood, here's what the scouts and adults had to say:

These scouts have also enjoyed many opportunities to volunteer for the city of Lakewood. Some of their favorite volunteer projects included helping with Earth Day activities, building a bridge as part of an eagle project, noxious weed removal at Bear Creek Lake Park and National Public Lands Day.

The highlight of the evening will be a breathtaking drone light show at approximately 9:15 p.m., featuring 300 state-of-the-art drones lighting up the sky with dazzling colors and effects. Tune in to MIX 100 on 100.3 FM for the soundtrack synced perfectly with the show, or stream live from your phone.
