What we heard...

Public Art is being developed by the City and strategic partners in the community. To infuse more public art throughout Lakewood, a unified vision and cohesive approach is needed.

Key Plan Strategies

  • Create a unified strategy for implementing and expanding public art, driven by the city and the Public Art Plan.
  • Proactively engage and expand strategic partnerships with entities such as Alameda Connects and 40 West Arts District and the ArtLine to cultivate and amplify public art in Lakewood.
