- Bear Creek Trail Improvements: trail improvements including concrete replacement and widening, bridge replacement, construction of soft-surface trail and new restrooms, with expected completion by fall 2023. Watch recent video. (TABOR, Grants [Jeffco Open Space, Land and Water Conservation Fund])
- Peak View Park Development: site plan for improvements completed, with trailhead, accessible concrete trail and soft-surface trail loops under construction. Work to provide vehicle access to park to occur 2023. (TABOR)
- Taft Park (Improvements - 2022): new site plan for improvements completed, with park improvements and a new playground to be installed by end of 2022. (OS)
- Wright Park Master Plan (Improvements - 2023): community-developed plan for future improvements including a neighborhood dog park underway. (TABOR, OS and NPP)
- Two Creeks Master Plan (Development - 2023): community-developed plan for improvements and playground replacement completed, with construction expected in 2023. (OS)
- James E. Harrison Park (Improvements - 2022-2023): community-developed plan for improvements including a new playground completed, with construction to be begin fall of 2022. (OS and NPP [Shelter])
- Imagine Tomorrow! arts, parks and recreation master plan: community planning process to chart the course for the next decade of Lakewood’s investment and programming for parks, recreation and the arts. (OS)
- Tennis Court at Westborough, Lasley, O’Kane parks: resurfacing and striping underway. (OS)
- Carmody Pickleball Courts and trail improvements 2022-2023 (trails complete): trail surfaces improved and construction of six new pickleball courts with lighting. (OS)
- Slater Elementary School Garden Seating: grant awarded for construction of this Jeffco Public Schools garden seating to accompany new school community garden. (NPP)
- Stober Elementary School Community Garden: grant awarded for construction of this Jeffco Public Schools new community garden. (NPP)
- Bear Creek Greenbelt Wadsworth Trailhead & Dog Park Site Plan: community-developed plan for community dog park and trailhead underway. (OS)
- Weir Gulch underpass improvement: installation of lights and murals to improve the connection under Wadsworth Boulevard from Belmar Park to Bonfils-Stanton Park. (NPP and Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District)
