City staff worked with Graham Park neighboring residents and open house attendees to carefully consider comments and feedback received over the last several months. Additionally, most residents supported a passive use park, without any structures.
Graham Park Revised Concept
The newest concept for the park includes minimal parking to encourage continued neighborhood use and walking to the park; accessibility improvements to allow access for people of all abilities; native plantings; interpretive signage recognizing the history of the park; a large loop trail and a small, accessible loop trail. The larger loop trail shown in green would be a future phase of development of the site. No shelters or programmed activities are proposed in the park.
